Keynote Address

Jeffrey Pemstein is the Immediate Past Chair of the California Building Industry Association, which is a statewide trade association representing developers, trade contractors, and other industry professionals in the homebuilding, multi-family and mixed-use development markets. Jeff has 30 years of professional experience in land development, home building, and construction. Through this experience, Jeff has become an expert in housing and land use policy, urban planning, environmental permitting, infrastructure planning, and finance.

Jeff will discuss the state of California’s housing policy and his recommendations to Governor Gavin Newsom and California legislators concerning policies that would increase housing supply and improve affordability.
